Fuchsia, or as the more creative teenagers like to nickname it, FuksyaUp City, has always been that quirky little town living on the edge of the world that no one ever hears about until a certain someone from that certain town comes along and says she's from there. Like any other, a significant portion of its people may be blessed with personal issues, and while they may not be all right in the head, most are simply human. As such, they're blamelessly incompetent. Still, many a tourist and a visiting friend or two come out of Fuchsia, bearing witness to a general delirium running through the city that plagued the inhabitants with sensational chaos. The Fuchsian phenomenon is contagious. People come and go, reluctantly joining the pulsing, throbbing madness of the city, and the only cure is to leave, where the old memories fade into the forgotten.
Your next-door neighbor, the one you've always known as the zealous nun, just married a lucrative magazine editor for money. The boyfriend abducted his debtor's foster parent for ransom only to realize later that she was also his best friend's grandmother, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The girlfriend accidentally shot her son's teacher's sister's friend's husband for breaking into her house and stealing her clothes on a dare. But when you finally see that your dog is missing and your tires slashed, you know that you've come home just as guilty.
This city goes round and round with ridiculous jokers and fakers, sinners and winners. As the root of all urban drama, broken families battle through petty but merciless feuds for power, fame, wealth, sanity. It's up to the new generation to carry on the old legacy.
